But the day ended up great. We had meetings with hotel management, the bus company rep, then with our friends Bobi at the Missouri and April at the Pacific Aviation Museum. A little tweaking of our final schedules on the days that we perform there. Then to pick up our rental truck and then the rental band equipment. (Thank you Roosevelt High School!) I think we're ready! Still a couple of things to check on for our schedule Thursday at the cemetery and Tuesday at Tripler, but a couple of phone calls should take care of those.

The band arrives late tomorrow, then on Sunday.....off we go! Headed for the North Shore and our first concert at the Waialua Bandstand.....oh yes, we talked with them today too. Such great people!
This is going to be such a great experience, thanks to all the people on this end who we've been working with long distance for so long. And we've already seen a number of WW II Vets in the area. This means so much to them - what an honor to be a part of all this.
